Unfortunately temperatures dropped below freezing last night and are expected to again tonight . Any suggestions on how to prevent further frost damage? I covered everything to discover my hostas and candy corn shrubs had chunks of ice/frost sitting in their leaves. I rinsed them off right away before sun hit. I hope that was a good idea. Help!

But in answer to your question. Do you have any straw you could blanket them with? As a short term solution X

My mum always says put newspaper over any plants at risk. I live in London and it rarely freezes, so I don’t bother, but maybe worth a try?
