I have taken some pots out of my greenhouse to clean and plant some seeds. But I found a tiny yellow slug in one. That means that I have slugs in my greenhouse! What can I do? I don't want to use slug pellets as I don't want to harm the hedgehogs. Thanks in advance for advice x

I use lots of salt and copper tape. (And launch any that I see over the fence)

There are slugs everywhere. You can buy nematodes which will kill them off. Salt is basically poisonous for your plants and soil, even if you can bring yourself to dissolve the slugs, which is revolting and VERY messy  Best thing is to keep checking and remove them. Like weeds (plants), slugs (wildlife) are part of gardening

I did mention salt above, but i use this around the bottom of my greenhouse, not on the soil. It seems to deter them rather than them getting killed; they don't stick around once it burns them a bit

Egg shells, crushed and scattered. Good deterrent
