I have just got two half whiskey barrels and want to turn them into water features. Can anyone tell me how much pond liner I would need to line each please ? I am terrible at maths They are 26” diameter (outer edge to outer edge) 18” high (floor to top)

Are they not water-tight? My girlfriend made a pond out of one of these and did not use any liner.

They used to hold whisky, a liquid, for significant periods. They should be good to go without

I understand they can leach chemicals from the whiskey into the water so prefer to line it before use. It is a fresh barrel and the whiskey smell is very strong (it was only cut open today)
