Find the main stem at the root, cut off, drill a hole down into the root and pour in neat weed killer, repeat till dead.

We just had to dig it all up ourselves then throw a load of weed killer down from every place we dug & it’s done the trick but it’s hard work

Paint scraper to scrap of fence , secateurs to cut it off the fence or tree trunk, trowl, spade, gloves and elbow grease and you will never see the last of it.

Cut out a 6inch section of the main stem or all if a few. Let it die off (brown all over) this will make it possible to pull away from what it's attached to. Then dig out the root. Good luck

I used weedol weed killer . Cut the ivy at ground level and I painted the weed killer onto the cut end . I did the same with brambles and they've disappeared .
