Does boiling water kill ivy root? As my nabour said it does or is there any other way to get shut of it? The root is massive ?

Nothing kills ivy there is so much of it that you will never find it all so it will still come back some were in that area.

Salt, lots of it! nothing will grow there afterwards (I'm assuming that's what you want lol? )

Yeah lots of salt and hot water worked for our grass that was growing out of the cracks

The root would be very difficult to dig out because its wrapped around a concrete fence post

Bash the root with a hammer and pour a bottle of neat bleach in won’t come back

Ivy no roots need to be dug out or very strong weedkiller
