Can someone tell me what is best to use to line the tyres when turning them into plant pots? Thanks

Has anyone tried turning them inside out? We used to years ago. It takes some doing but they’re lovely and don’t look like tyres any more. They’re sort of an urn shape. If you google it there’s how to . pictures.

@palpitant3125 we tried to do this a couple of years ago. Had to give up, was far too hard to do by hand

I have used wheel trims and a pizza tray ha. I'm going to put compost sacks on the top with holes in. I have tyres ready just no compost yet x

Wow may try this with smaller tyres at the end of my courtyard with fake flowers as not much sunlight there, it will brighten it up ☺

There were someone dumping them and people complaining so I said on fb I would take them for this hence I had some donated! Worth asking

Our tyres are stacked to create their own micro climate. Average 4c higher than the ground.
