Can anyone tell me what the tubular plant is that’s started to grow in the pots ? Not the osterospernum thank you lol

I have a type of canna lily that begins with little tubes shooting up. Its beautiful once it flowers

I saved the root balls from a garden we cleared last year put them in a bag in the shed during winter, and planted them in pots couple of months ago, so I canna work out what they are as yet lol thanks for your suggestions?
