What the best to burn on your log burners? Edit - Tried burning some left over wood but it smoked alot (think some was treated) want to know what's best that does not smoke alot thanks

Well seasoned hardwood logs should give off next to no smoke. If it smokes alot it is too wet. You can buy smokeless fuel like coal but doesnt give much of a flame

Well seasoned hard wood is the best thing to not smoke you out. A good test if it's dry is to knock two pieces together. If it makes a thud it's wet and if it makes a note it's dry.

Fresh or damp wood will smoke loads, need kiln dried or wood that's been dried at least a year for it to smoke less.

Kindling sized wood should constantly be added to keep the heat.
