I bought supplies to make the “watering can solar light”. However, the watering cans are small and the “rose” doesn’t come off to thread the lights through and the solar lights have a battery. Can anyone tell me the correct materials to buy (and where to buy them) and if there is a battery with the lights, what do you do with the “battery” pack? I hope this makes sense! Thank you.

Screw a small screw into the holes of the rose and wrap the lights around the screw

The micro lights on copper wire would be the best to use, b&m and home bargains sell them and you could always make the holes in the can a little bigger with a small screwdriver?

I used a small screw driver and a hammer to widen the holes then threaded the lights through with the help of some tweezers

Thank you. Was there a “battery” pack with a switch with the lights? What did you do with that?

@bain1733 leave it in the can

Sorry for the constant questions. Where do you hide the wire from the battery pack?

Pack in the can then thread the lights through the hole. But if you can't thread it through it will just have to be hidden at the back of the can. Out of sight.
