Just wondered if anyone has come across this before. Me and my neighbour skimmed, rotorvated and levelled his lawn. He then seeded it, we live in an area with good soil, good drainage and we get good sun (although we haven’t had much sun). A 9 days on and there is grass pushing through, however, it seems to be pushing through like a reddish colour. With bits of green in it too. Anyone else seen this happen before? I was wondering if there isn’t enough nutrient in the soil or anything? It’s watered in a morning and on a night. Any ideas

Maybe because there hasn't been much sun. They need it to create the chlorophyll that turn it green.
