Hi all. I was just wondering if I could have people's opinions on sheds.Hi all. I was just wondering if I could have people's opinions on sheds. I need a new one but can't decide if I should get a metal, plastic or wooden one. Also, what bases have you all used for your sheds? Thanks in advance :)

Highly recommend the plastic shed bases from b&q you can fill it in with pebbles. Easy to cut it to size as well.

Wooden, last for years and years, tried and tested, easily repaired later in life, can be taken down and put back up, paint any colour

I used to have a metal shed and the condensation was dreadful. Everything was mouldy. Got rid of it for a wooden one and all is well now. It is on cheep flag stones from B&Q

If you get a plastic she'd make sure it's well secured. We had a half shed storage box and in strong wind it got whipped out of the garden and it smashed into pieces and blew down the street.

Literally disposed of my Mum’s wooden shed yesterday. We worked out it was 30 years old. Poor thing had started to rot. So I’d suggest a wooden shed. My own shed is on a wooden spiked frame straight onto the grass, it’s been pre-treated and will stop the grass growing, also ventilating the shed floor. Base cost well under £100 and a lot less time and effort than a concrete base.

Can anyone give me any advice on how to fix my canopy (no idea if it has a real name ) it’s clearly seen better days and I have no issue with sanding it down to repaint but I think it’s just normal timber and I think one of its feet could do with been replaced.
