Quick question , my grass has been completely ruined from the kids paddling pool last year . Unfortunately as the garden is long and narrow , and mostly stone we don’t have a lot of places we can put it . Any one come up with a solution other than fake grass ? Thanks x

The only thing you could do is flag or deck and area for the pool. If you use the pool a lot I'm afraid the grass is going to suffer and theres not much you can do to stop it, apart from empty and move the pool every day! We had the same issue, the grass would just start to come back as we were looking to get the pool out. Ended up with a bald patch for 5 years till we flagged the area.

@zymogen I use old carpet and underlay under my pool to stop any tears and to keep it from been too hard under the kids feet. It is a big pool though so you could just use an old blanket if it's a smaller one.

Could you somehow raise the pool off the ground slightly i. e. put it on a wooden base then raise the whole thing off the ground on short legs?
