I got my uncle a wooden herb box from poundland and then filled it with useful bits - jute string, plant labels, seed packets, a box of blood, fish and bone fertiliser, etc - mostly from pound shops and from b and q who have some lovely seeds etc in recyclable packaging ☺

I've got one of these kneelers. Turn it the other way and it becomes a seat and has spaces to store tools. Paid £3 for mine in the sale but you can get them under £10.

Garden centre voucher nothing better than spending someone else's money. Often they want to replace something with a good quality item (that's what my father in law always wanted ) you could go together and treat him to a brew x
