I don’t think you can do anything to stop her, she can see that the grass IS greener on the other side

@wrangler42874 it won't be for much longer  once this COVID-19 is over then its getting fake grass, all had to stop due to this x

@athanor we will be but waiting to get the garden sorted full, just need a cheap temporary measure for now

@amphidiploid there aint really an cheap way of stopping the dog jumping. unless u put dog on a long line lead wiv a stake in ground. ensuring the dog cant reach the fence. i fostered a mastiff an it would clear a 6ft fence had to put trellis on top .

You can buy rolls of screening from wilkos about 6 ft high and it’s really easy to attach. My staff is a jumper when it suits him!

@instantaneous thanks for the sensible reply, I have been looking at that but wasn't sure if it would be suitable and sturdy enough x

@amphidiploid yeah it works as it’s enough to stop them jumping x

Buy some 6ft bamboo and tie wrap it to the fence x

@francis I think that's what we are going to do, just hope it's strong enough that the 29kg dog doesn't jump straight through it
by (770 points)
@amphidiploid omg hopefully it will deter the dog from jumping x
by (330 points)
@francis I hope so! Its only when she sees a cat or a ball is their garden lol bloody nightmare, neighbours have been pretty good about it x

@amphidiploid my neighbours dog is the same. Soon as she sees the kids playing she jumps up at the fence, luckily its a 6ft fence and she cant jump it x

My rottie/staffy thinks he's a showjumper I've tried highering fences to 7ft but he always finds a way. So I've bought a 6metre outdoor lead from pets at home. He can reach most of the garden but not jump fence he loves spending his days outside with us all x

Buy him balls and interesting play toys like a tunnel from Pets at Home. He won't want to go next door then

@boggs62 she has balls, she has a massive boom ball and about 50 tennis balls and our other dog to play with, she only jumps over to get their footballs or when she sees a cat, she wouldn't fit in a tunnel she is huge! Lol

Extend each post another bit, get rope or plastic caution ribbon and run it inbetwixt the higher posts.

Put her on a rotating lead o. The garden . cement the stake into the ground so it can't be pulled out And attach her to a good quality harness so she cannot chew through it Decathlon sell horse leads at least 10 metres long Problem solved for you and the neighbours

Just had to make a temporary fence myself. My dogs keep digging up the new grass I have planted. Used long bamboo canes. Not good to look at but does the job.

One of our dogs kept escaping our local council got in touch and said it was our responsibility to provide a safe environment so we ripped out 100metres of privet and put a fence in
