Hiya I’m new to the group. I’m needing some help/advice with my garden. I live in Scotland and it’s been raining for what feels like 2months non stop, my garden is like a bog and I have a dog which isn’t helping, I want to have nice grass by summer if that’s possible. What would be the best thing to do with it? Dig it up and start again?  I can post a picture of it if needed but it’s a Mess

Leave it, should come back, might need bit of seed and feed when weather warmer

@thissa84 I’d leave it, it will dry up eventually, mines like a bog too. There’s not much point doing anything just now.

@thissa84 aww the neighbours are probably happy someone is doing something with it it does look like it wasn’t maintained and you’ve cut it all down so that’s a start xx

@thissa84 if they didn’t bother then anything you do will be a bonus

@thissa84 just let them know politely that it will be done but last on the list with a newborn and new house. I’d be jumping for joy if I seen you trimming compared to nothing xx

@thissa84 be brilliant for the wee ones when summer comes around as long as it’s all safe. It takes years to get a good established garden and if the neighbours are gardeners they will understand that xx
