Hi all!  .Hi all! . first post  i have a allotment that came with a green house . the polycarb stuff was so dead, then the storms completely blew it all out. My question is how do i get it back to a usable space as quickly and cheaply as possible? Frame is still solid!

Go to a place that sells glass or window replacement company and ask if you could have the glass out of old window frams that's how I did it

You can cut if you get big enough bits I did but some I had to frame

Greenhouse plastic per metre on ebay and you can get special waterproof tape. It last two years on mine and then only needed to renew some tape.

@dudden9563 yes just with normal scissors. I used pegs to hold in place while taping together. Easier with an extra person x

Look on gumtree, schpok or Facebook marketplace sometimes people are giving greenhouses or glass away free or cheap, or you could try using thick clear plastic sheets similar to what is used on polytunnels

I have replaced my panels with thicker ones so they should last longer. 10mm instead of 4mm.

Have a look on your local pages, greenhouses get given away so might get some glass.

@dudden9563 I'm miles away but tried to give glass away but no one wanted it.

Try your local allotment site. Our shop sells glass. Ebay sells polycarb sheets. Have your measurements. Get some clear silicone to stick them in place xx
