Can anyone advise me what kind of plants to put in a wildlife pond please, must be reasonably cheap and what to put on the bottom?

We have lots of reeds, horsetail, iris, watercress, water lettuce, marsh marigolds, oxygenating weed, lillies, floating soldiers, juncus, grasses. Lots more too but i dont know names. We started by asking friends with ponds for little clumps, then as theh grew started swapping with others to get a good variety. A year after making the pond I'm able to split and give plants to others x

Oxygenating plants in the bottom, perhaps a water lilly, but what @gesticulate said above is good advice, see about getting some snails too

If your pond is fairly small, you should be cautious about what lily you choose. Many will overwhelm a small pond
