Question

I’m fed up of painting my decking. I’ve tried everything and within a year it looks rubbish. Fake grass (decent quality) is gonna cost me £120. Is there something else I can do? Something funky/colourful. I’m thinking is there such a thing as a fake tiled path I can lay over the decking? EDITED TO SAY I’m not painting it again. I want something different.

Ikea have some click together tiles that you could lay over the top x

I feel your pain we had new decking last year I put dark stain treatment me and hubby just saying how bad it looks in less that a yr

Have you tried frenchic alfresco paint?

I was thinking of just using emulation to c what it's like fed up doing g fence panels every year even the dear stuff doesn't stay on has a yo e else used it instead ?

You want and oil based stain not water based

I have the exact same problem I found click together tiles but work out really expensive

In used the grass tiles click together you need ground pegs to keep them in place so not be able to put on top of decking unless you have gaps to put ground pegs threw i would do a garden carpet i use this site so cheap great quality fast service

Worst thing to do is paint decking use Yacht varnish.

Definitely go with the artificial grass, we covered old decking on our roof terrace looked fab.
