I’ve just acquired a lovely big raised bed to grow veg in. It’s like a deep v shape on legs. What do I put in? Compost or top soil or a mixture of both ?

I’m guessing you have a veg trug. I would use a mixture.

@deflate10 you can get it in bags like the compost, at the garden centre. I get buy 2 get one free for £12. It's all money I know, but not many people have access to farms, and then you still have to shovel it and let it rot down! My neighbours
