Question

Hi has anyone made raised beds with sleepers in there garden? How did you do it? Any tips and tricks? Ours will be against a back fence, so unsure what need to do to ensure fence doesn’t rot? Thanks in advance xx

Mine is up to a gravel board, too. You need some post-crete to set them in and brackets to screw the inside corners together would help, too. I've put mine right up to the patio on one side and then bark chipped a gap around 2 sides so I can mow up to the edge.

Does the fence have gravel boards or the ability to fit them? If not you could build the boarders like a container in front of the fence, if you know what I mean. Lay them flat & they will stack up without the need for upright supports, you can just screw then together. I did mine but I had gravel boards on my fence
