Check with landlord? about any weight restrictions, but biggest pots or containers you can get, courgettes and other squashes will be too big, and I think you will struggle with carrots or parsnips and such, spinach, beetroot, radish, tomato, peppers aubergines, lettuce or other salad leaves should all do if you get enough sun :)

@natale should be good to go then, happy gardening, but do check about weight, there have been some horrible accidents with balconies collapsing due to gardening.
