Make a hedgehog highway, quite simply cut a small hole in the bottom corner of your fence so they can get in / out of your garden and maybe through to next door.

you never know they are nocturnal and can come any time of the night. I made a hole in the gate for the cats and never knew we had hogs until one came trotting through. Now it eats at ours most nights! Small things like that will make it easier for them of they are about

We really couldnt even try it. Next door have got 6 cats. And there are at least 4 others that live in adjacent houses. We dont even get birds in the garden. It's not safe for them. I find it very upsetting. I love to hear the birds.
