Question

Can anyone recommend a treatment for dead grass patches on my lawn where my dog has weed? Thanks

Nothing works for my dog, tried the rocks spray etc. Just need to keep reseeding and trying to stop her going in the lawn.

@distinction I have a patch at bottom of garden where I have put chippings . my gsd tends to go there thankfully. But tbh if I don't cut my grass too short the patches are really quite small and disappear quickly x

@knutson your lucky, we don’t have our grass that short but it’s still noticeable.

You can buy a spray that neutralises the acid in urine whuch burns the grass, not sure of the name but try Amazon x

I’m trying Green-um Lawn Burn Solution which I got from Amazon after doing a bit of research on it. It’s a food supplement that apparently binds with the nitrogen in urine, which is what causes the lawn burn. Only just started using it so can’t say if it will work or not but it had good reviews.

Dog rocks on ebay, you put them in the water bowl, does help.

Try putting tomato juice in food toneutralise the urine

Just out of interest, is it bigger dogs, and in particular German shepherds that cause the issue? Mine always did.
