Can you cut sleepers with a mitre saw? They are 240mm depth?

We just spent the weekend cutting 56! Ours only cut half way, we needed to turn each one.

Not in one go, but cut, turn, cut, turn and you’ll be through it that way.

Yes if you have a deep cut sliding mitre saw capable of cutting 240mm. All mitre saws will say what their limits are

A mitre saw with a capability of cutting to a depth of more than 240mm in a single sweep is massive. my one will only do around 220mm

Cut them with a hand saw, nothing else to do!

If ur saw is big enough myt be better to take cut from each side with skill saw
