Please can I have some clematis advice please. I went to water our clematis (2 years old) - and it looks like its snapped. Is it a goner?

Should be fine, Clematis is genuinely quite good at repairing itself.

If it’s not severed completely, it could heal with some support. If it is broken, cut it back to the break and it will start to grow again x

I used micropore tape to repair the stem of one of mine. It’s breathable & worked a treat.

Try taping up but it will grow back again anyway.
