Don't use these for places you want to grow anything in next couple of years at least.

Are any of these okay to use where cats might go? I don’t want to poison any animals

1 cup of salt, 5 and a half litres of white vinegar, 2 table spoons of washing up liquid. For use on patios and drives but not where you want to grow in the future. It doesn't kill the root.

Do not use salt on your lawn if the weeds are there, if you do expect nothing to grow there untill next millennium, salt will dehydrate everything and kill them not only that it will contaminate the soil for a good square metre xxx

Salt will also damage drive, as will vinegar, keep those on plate.
