Hey guys.  A question regarding strategic approach to delivery of video ads.Hey guys. A question regarding strategic approach to delivery of video ads. What is in your opinion the best network/ social media channel to run video ads where the goal is to get people to watch as much of the content as possible, YouTube or Facebook? The content is an example of typical TV- ad content, the question is therefore, which one of this platform does the best to fill in for more traditional TV Ads delivery?

@jorry (great name). If you are running TV ads, then I assume your goal is creating brand awareness. In this case I would say its smart to split your budget across both channels since you benefit from being omnipresent (can create 20% additional brand lift). Both Facebook and Youtube ads run on a bid auction mechanism, meaning that you more or less pay a fair price (none of them is absolutely better, just different characteristics). Facebook may be a bit cheaper per view but Youtube can be more impactful as more people play videos with sound. For both channels its smart to adjust your TV creative as you will need to create interest in the first seconds. Otherwise people will just skip or scroll past your video.
