Hi!  What is the issue of being below first page bid- if I would still manage to get enough traffic at a far lower cpc.Hi! What is the issue of being below first page bid- if I would still manage to get enough traffic at a far lower cpc. Are those clicks less likely to convert? Also about search campaigns with display opt in- are there any scenario where its usable or is it a completely waste? Thank you!

Test it. My current vertical(insurance) has far less conversions and sales with cheaper traffic. You never know until you test though.

Yea i would guess that each click is lower converting, but if the cpc is much lower maybe its a win in the end anyways.

Second your point . In ppc you make money by buying clicks. Just like walmart. The cheaper you buy the higher the profits

Ad position generally has no effect on conversion rate. which is why it's frustrating when clients DEMAND to be in the top spots. if you can fulfill your budget with cheaper clicks at lower positions. take the less expensive traffic. but yeah, ultimately you need to test and find out

I would say the ad position has an impact on conversion, but not for all markets. If you need a fast service like locksmiths, help on-road and etc, yes. Users will take decisions really quick. If it's a house siding company, landscape design, furniture - user will go beyond the first page. But this user behavior tells that he considers far more offers than yours, so you better have a good deal to offer. I have campaigns, where my bids below the first page, but I still manage to keep ROAS at 3x. If a keyword doesn't have much volume, then you will get no enough data to optimize. I had this problem with a very specific niche. The bid were below first page and I received only a few clicks. So i HAD to bid more :)
