Is it normal to get better conversions with organic traffic than paid ones (google shopping)? Targeting same products in an ecommerce store (same landing page)

That would probably depend on how good your paid campaigns are vs how good your SEO is.

@penicillin well google shopping pretty much depends on the same factors as usual seo (title, description, keywords). So my guess is it shall work the same? Or am I missing something here? There is really no control over google shopping campaigns except for the negative keyworda
