As an entrepreneur, do you find it challenging to create a self-sufficient team? If yes, why do you think that is?

Typical scenario goes like -- Your company is small or a startup. Suddenly bigger companies invite your staff for bigger pay better benefits better everything. Imagine working for a company that's small or new then Facebook or Google invite you to work for them. Free house, car, 10x salary. As an employee who has kids, bills to pay, wants to have a better life, etc its a no brainer. Your company becomes a revolving door, where interns come in just to get experience  that's how competition for talent is.

@uranyl I went from Google and Ford doing SEM and worked at 2 start ups/smaller companies after. The culture was amazing. I'm still at one. They're flexible with hours, always pushing me to take naps or a day off. They seem to genuinely care. You. can compete you just have to be kind and create a better environment mentally.

@matthus Google has a high attrition rate. I also worked for Ford. It is common for startups to become revolving doors. Yours is probably an exception and isn't the norm.

@uranyl your point was Google or FB could poach. My point is it's harder to poach if you make sure your employees love their job. Also, you did SEM for FORD too!?

@matthus its just an example of bigger better opportunities for employees of smaller less paying new starups. It is a fact.
