Anyone buying traffic via display (GDN + YouTube) to content (i. e. article that refers user to an advertiser)? NOT BUYING SEARCH, not selling a product. Our conversion event (traffic referral) is a high volume low value event and we know what we need to pay for it. Having trouble getting consistent delivery. Some days spend entire budget by 3am, some days spends over the course of the day. Have tested max conversions but spend was out of control. Then after 1500 conversions tested target CPA. Day 1: Saw stable delivery that was great one day (100% of conversions and delivery occurred on YouTube. com) Day 2: 0 delivery Day 3: raised the target CPA for the next day and saw budget spend by 5am and it did not adhere to our target CPA. We see that display on YouTube. com is a great avenue. Does anyone have suggestions for how to set this up to get stable delivery at our target CPA at scale? Would you suggest targeting youtube. com exclusively (not YouTube channels, only youtube. com)? Is that possible? We have similar audiences we can leverage. Otherwise, we simply use age targeting. Any advice there? We're afraid to set too high of budgets because spend seems to be out of control. We're fully confident in our creative, this is only a challenge with the variety of campaign types to set up. Again, this is for content marketing. High volume low value conversion < $1. Any advice is helpful.
