Question

Hello everyone,  I set up google conversion tracking on my shopify store. I got 12 sales from Facebook but it isn't showing on google ads. I checked with google tag assistant and it shows 3 tags. I called google but they said they have to contact me in 4 days which is a bummer. Does google ads not track sales other than sales generated with google or did I do something wrong? Thank you so much for your help!

Have you tried google analytics instead ?

The Google Ads tracking will only track conversions that were initiated by an Ads click. If you’re trying to track multiple sources then use Google Analytics

@salvatoresalvay332 no they are independent. You can link both to Google Analytics and view data there

It's not how it is designed. For example you can't run Android on an Iphone.

@salvatoresalvay332 you can, but think of FB and Google Ads as two different bank accounts, and Google Analytics as an accounting software like Quickbooks. You can pull the two accounts into Quickbooks to read and understand how they are performing. Google Ads has an easy way to link to GA. FB is a little different but there’s a lot of videos on YouTube to show you how to easily set it up with your current website or CRM
