Here’s the issue I see with your post here. you’re seeking to hire someone to “teach” you how to run everything, which I can tell you from doing that, as well running several agencies as well going the consulting route, you’re in for a lot of work. That being said, you don’t want to hire anyone who is an “agency” but why is that? Are you worried they will take the clients themselves? Who then would you hire, a freelance consultant? To be frank. They. Are. The. Same. Thing! IMO to help you get to where you want to be, I’d hire someone to offer you consulting, who has, or currently runs and agency with multiple clients and has staff members or employees. You’ve got a LOT to learn, especially if you want to get on clients in a month; to much here to list. Ask them to sign an NDA that they won’t poach your clients and offer a competitive rate to have them show you A to Z. This can be done in a week and you’ll be moving along faster rather than trying to trust some kid who’s moonlighting as an “expert guru” from his day job at the box folding factory
