I can't seem to get clear direction on this and hoping you guys know the answer. I have a client who does some PRP (I know, bad word) but we don't have any ads for it and we don't have it mentioned on any landing pages. However, I have one ad group that has all ads denied because PRP exists on the website. I asked the Google rep multiple times about this. PRP is not in the keywords, the ad copy or the landing page, but it is still denied just because it's on the website at all? They said yep. But, my question is "why are all my other ads approved and running"? :(. Any help appreciated if you have experience with this. Ready to pull my hair out (and I think my client wants to grab a piece of it too! )

You have to understand that Google reserves the right to change the rules or deny access at will, often without any clear determining factors.

They aren't consistent. I have a client who sells a gun related product. Even though it's not really a violation of the policy, they have rejected it in Google Shopping because other pages on the site mention gun. I was even told I needed to remove the logo because it looks like a crosshair. With that said, all of my traditional search ads were approved just fine. If they were going to deny shopping they should have denied search too.
