Hi everyone, I’m having a difficult time setting up conversion pixel on clients squarespace website. We’re trying to set it up on form submission, so we want to tag the button. But every time I set it up it’s been tracking website visits instead. Anyone available or have any resources that I can follow? I’ve used all the things I can find on the internet but nothing’s worked for me.

Create a thank you page and contact form redirect. Track that page

Thanks! is this the only way to fix it? I'm just afraid the client doesn't have the capacity to do this.

You can do this via google tag manager using the click event. Id advise against button click however as it doesn’t register the confirmed form submit. Thank you pages are useful as are confirmation messages which are also trackabke

Use click triggers in GTM OR a Thank You / confirmation page.
