Anyone had luck running a campaign for face masks. My client is legit and not scamming anyone. I read the policy and emailed Google. Has anyone had any luck getting them to approve "face mask" as a keyword?

I was getting about a dozen or so messages and emails a day after I responded to a post in another group saying I’m running ads for a client who is supplying EQUIPMENT to companies making masks. Google will shut you down, they won’t even give you a chance once they find you are trying to profit from the sales of masks. I’ve even heard of some accounts being suspended over having masks for sale on their site, yet not advertising them. There’s a few loopholes with other products, as well to advertise on FB and other networks, but it’s an uphill battle

Yup no luck with masks in Google. I have them listed with Criteo and that's going OK.

Hmmm, curious on this too. Where does face mask fall under Google Policy as restricted?

I found out this morning from Google And Microsoft ads that they won't run any paid ads for face masks. They call it "being sensitive". They still show amazon, walgreens and wal mart for free on the first page of the SERP though. I guess they are the only ones Google will help stay in the face mask business. oh well, can't control everything.

I can confirm apple are also taking the same approach with any apps and ads in relation to viruses and even illness in general.
