If there are no policy flags on the account, and impressions are not increasing, it would suggest you are losing auctions. If that is the case Increase your bid/budget could help, so you could try increasing it for a few days. You could also be bidding on highly competitive keywords, so it might be worthwhile to try other keywords. Quality score can also drop your positioning and with highly competitive keywords/audiences make a big difference. So try making sure your landing page and ad messaging is very relevant to your keywords and targeted audiences. Those are some things to try.

@brisket Thank you! I love helping people with complex issues like digital advertising. Also I feel like increasing a budget is a brute-force/lazyish way of improving performance, so I try to use that as a last resort method when working with clients. If you have more questions feel free to message me.

@constringe btw, do you know what hours google chat is around nowadys? for the ad support

Na, I haven't been contacting them so I don't know when people have had success talking with them. That would probably be a good question for the group in a separate post. If you can't get through the chat I have had success with just going with an email request for support. But I don't know what their response rate would be right now.

Has it been flagged for not complying with a policy?

@catoptrics sorry for the rookie question, but if it's enabled it should mean it compies? or where can i see that it doesn't?

All good! An enabled ad does not mean it complies with Google's policy. Check in the Ads and Extensions section. :) If attach a screen shot of the Campaign section and the Ads and Extensions section, I can help further.
