Quick question.  I'm drawing a blank.Quick question. I'm drawing a blank. I've linked Google Analytics with Google Ads. importing site metrics. In my segmented dashboard its showing a conversion from Google Analytics. I'm assuming it's an ad showing on GMB listing? Just looking for clarification. Thanks!

The source is "Google Analytics"? I could see that happening when you click to view in landing page reports or similar. but would have thought that would show up as direct / none.

Yeah it's right in the keyword overview section in Google Ads. The keyword showed 2 conversions. I clicked the segment option and it showed 1 conversion from website, 1 conversion from Analytics.

@vulgarism7314 you might be double counting conversions. The website conversion originates from a Google Ads Conversion Tracking (GACT) code on the page. The Analytics conversion occurs because you also have Google Analytics code on same page, and the user activity had triggered an Analytics Goal. Take off the GACT code, and simplify by using your Analytics conversions.

@vulgarism7314 importing site metrics doesn't impact your conversions. It just let's you see your bounce rates, pages per session, time on site and %of new visitors that are related to your Google Ads assets.

@ology oh ok good to know. So remove the goal or remove GACT.
