Has anyone else read up on this? A fantastic gesture by Google however I can’t find out how you claim the Ad Credits.

Neither FB or Google are giving away the credits yet.

You cant claim, will appear in accounts I believe directly towards end of May.  
The Google AdWords Group is where you can always find questions, answers, advice, reviews & recommendations from other community members about successful search engine marketing (SEM) ads through Google AdWords.
