I think I know the answer but just want to ask. With Facebook it’s recommend to duplicate ad sets to reach more viewers. With google, would that work by having duplicate ads for the same key word or is that not a thing? To scale would you just raise your budget?

Welcome to Google. You don't have to stress things so much over here. You're not battling it out with advanced, opaque, and seemingly not effective algorithms. More stats and analytics here instead of coming up with fancy ways to scale without destroying your ad sets optimisation.

Pros and cons of course. My biggest gripe with Facebook now is them forcing everyone to use last-click attribution model which doesn't really work well with full funnel advertising. You get a lot more freedom with Google (you can turn off auto ad optimisation! ) but it does seem less creative and fun and I can't imagine their data on users is 1/10 what Facebook has. I work in lead gen so I mainly use Google for cold traffic and use Facebook as well as others for retargeting.

@carmelcarmela79 i got banned on Facebook so that’s why I jumped to google and it’s been profitable. Facebook wasn’t but I agree. There is def more on fscebook to have fun with. Google for the most part is straight to the point
