So I finally got a hang on (is this the way you say it? lol) this script that adds negatives to shopping campaigns. Question: is it only possible to add negatives which doesnt include your picked keywords once the querie in question have had at least 1 impression? Is there any way to "block" any queries from even showing my ad, if they dont include the mentioned keywords I have chosen?

You can add any negative keyword(s) you like. They do not have to include or reflect the keywords you have chosen. For example one of my campaigns is for custom blinds and shades. Negative keywords may include cheap, Walmart, mini, hunting (poor & irrelevant matches that pertain to blinds) and sunglasses (poor match that may pertain to shades).

@jarmon okey but what i wanna do is the other way around, exclude anything that doesnt include the keywords i want. Ex. If i sell phone cases, i wanna exlude every search that do not contain case or cases

@tussle4 so you would include the following as keywords [phone case] or perhaps +phone +case and then negative keywords could be gun, instrument, watch etc etc. your keywords are the net you are casting . telling google to be on the lookout for any consumer typing in “_______” and your negative keywords are your instructions on what to exclude. Hope that makes sense

@tussle4 that would be different. I have limited experience with shopping. Perhaps someone else can elaborate. Theory is the same through

I know the script you are referring to. And it works only by excluding queries not in your 'positives' list after they are matched to the campaign. So the answer to your question is no (sadly)

@jute79 thanks! U know if u can exclude em by 1 impression? Currently it has a "min clicks" column and i put it to -1, should do the same?

@tussle4 don't know. Been about a year since I last used the script and then it was only for clicks.

You using the brainlabs script?

@jute79 i think so. Not by the computer now. But must be many scripts like this out there

@tussle4 sure. Seems recently Google ads is supplying data on queries with 1 impression (maybe to match bing ads). Confident a script must be out there to perform on that basis.
