When you build ADs for lead conversions, do you build the campaign for conversions or website clicks? A Google rep once told me I should do website clicks for the first week then switch it to conversions after Google has been given enough data. What are your thoughts on this?

Following - I’ve heard you want to have a certain number of conversions before you switch over but google will tell you anything to make sure they get more money

Its clicks that lead to conversions at x amount of conversions you switch to target conversions if you want to use that strategy

AI is only as smart as the data that you feed it. We do a LOT of lead gen and we use manual. When the account is mature, we will run a test with an automated strategy to see if it can beat our managers. It almost never does. Use manual and do the work.

What did that wanna be google rep said last time I was telling them off. Uh 20 or 25 conversions in a 30 day period then swap. Better to use manual CPC though
