Hi @screwy27193, I work for a SaaS company as a full time mkt specialist. Google ads have been working fine for us, bringing good ROAS and ROI. However, it took me some time to get them to perform well (close to 2 months). We're in a very competitive market (training software) that required well structured campaigns and lots of long tail keywords. Our average CPC is crazy expensive, but that's the market we're in - there's no workaround for us.

@aleppo Thank you Daniel. I know that and I told them that they are im expensive cpc market and that a it will take a month at least to produce results. I also put long tail keywords and the clicks are good, no wrong search terms so far. I guess they are just unreasonable.

@screwy27193, sorry to hear that. Some people just don't understand that marketing requires a long term commitment and patience.

I have. Nobody can expect results in such period of time.

Those clients are the best! If they dont understand how results for Google ads work there is 1 of two things to do 1) look at your on boarding process. Did you give clear guidance about what could be expected. 2) your client is unreasonable. if their expectations dont match reality. fire them

@sparker I gave them entire plan of action and strategy upfront. I really gave myself into it but to expect huge results in 12h. I mean wtf. To have clear results take about a month from my experience.

So, p. 2 is the obvious answer. The client will torture you all the time.

Yeah I have experience with leads also but this is just insane to expect. Been using search, display and remarketing. Search results is no1 for 90% of keywords, but they complain about the low time spent on page through display ads.

I've worked with a couple of global saas clients in the last few years with great results. They need to understand that initially they are buying data specific to their brand and landing pages. My experience is that they want to throw a few thousand at it as a trial. Getting them to change that mindset is key.

All my clients were expecting the same thing at the beginning and that's because they don't know or because of a youtube kid that promised them crazy results with low budget in a short term. but what I did ? I explained to them in a reasonable manner how the system works and unfortunately results won't happen in 24. I show them that unfortunately I cant make false promises and that results will come but with time not in 24 hrs. and trust me they all hired me . i hope this will help

@screwy27193 good work. Ya just have to do it sometimes. Also sometimes firing g clients gives them the kick they need to realise they have overstepped their role

@sparker this one overstepped pretty hard. Very rude and unprofessional. Even started with insults and stuff. That I just won't take no matter the pay.
