Miralax is recommended by most gastrointestinal doctors Be careful with “laxatives” as you don’t want to be running to the bathroom when it kicks in! Stool softeners are best. And a healthy diet! Drink lots of water

Did they say the fecal is impacted? How much water are you drinking? Tried walking? Google intestinal massage, I think it’s counterclockwise. I’ve had that before to the point I couldn’t pee and then it hurt worse because I had to pee but couldn’t. Scary

Docusate Colace yes is safe it is a stool softner and not a stimulant . it draws water into the bowel to make it a soft go . pretty harmless !
