When I was on IP my coach always told me to eat beef during the first part of the week. She said I would weigh more heavy if I did it after mid week. do you find this in your experience?

Whatttt? That’s so weird. I’ve never heard this. What if you eat beef every day?!

Beef generally takes longer to digest so yes, it could affect what you see on the scale if you consume it close to weigh-in. But if you always eat beef, or a lot of it, you shouldn’t notice a difference on the scale.

Untrue. I eat beef almost everyday and I've never had that problem. I only run into water retention if I have too much salt. Otherwise, I lose . 4 lb every day. So you can't go by that.

Sometimes if you are eating a lot of fish and chicken breast and your weight isn't moving, a couple red meat meals will shake things up for a drop in weight. Just my 5 year maintenance experience. :)
