Anyone noticing a massive stall in weight loss since having to stay/work at home? I haven’t lost maybe but 2 pounds in the 3 weeks that I have been working from home. I don’t think I’m eating any more food than usual. Keyword is THINK. I know I’m not drinking enough water, that’s for sure. ‍♀️

Yup! Can't get lower than 135. Keep bouncing around those numbers but no lower.

It is not unusual for us to want to get lower than is practical for our bodies for our age and stage of life. Sometimes our body has reached goal before we think we have.

@footrope I'm really starting to think I should be phasing off soon because I can't see my losing another 10 anytime soon at this rate

@grath You also want a weight that will be maintainable without constantly having to go back to phase 1.

Well that is probably the problem then because you have to drink 60 oz of water minimum a day on this diet .

I find I’m also moving less.

Might help you to log every bite you’re putting in your mouth. Sounds like you could be going over. And you definitely need to up your water.

Yes! Massive stall with ounces gained, lost, gained again. noooooo significant loss at all. Very frustrating. I'm doing everything the same except my work schedule (week on week off) I chalked it up to less steps

I think it’s also stress . makes us retain fluid and bloat . It’s hard on routine people to adjust to a new schedule and I know that it’s caused stress for me .

I’m logging every bite, sleeping better and drinking ALL my water but haven’t lost for 3 weeks now. I think it’s the steps. Usually around 8000 to 10, 000 steps, now averaging around 5, 000 to 7000. Frustrating but maybe I’m losing inches  and I haven’t gained .

My coach and my husband who is a Physician Assistant said that cortisol levels increase when stressed which suppresses weight loss. I’m experiencing the same issue.

I am just trying to maintain and not gain during this period. I know stress is a major factor for me.

Yes. It could be stress and routine change that you don’t even notice.

Yes, I realize I move a lot less and the kitchen is close. I haven't gained. So as long as I stay flat or down during this its a win

I suggest taking a short 10-15 min fast paced walk a couple times during your work day if possible. Even doing 10 min of running/walking in place or jumping jacks every hour could help speed up your metabolism and ease both physical and mental stress. I have started a 20 min walk at lunchtime and have seen much more weight loss this week (husband takes his walk after me during his lunch so someone is with the kids at all times )
