Decided to eat some of my ideal protein food today. I've noticed it makes me bloat really bad and gives me horrible gas. None of the alternative food does. Also haven't eaten ideal protein in months since I've started the alternative foods. Anyone else have this reaction to the ideal brand?

Likely the soy. Far more of it in IP foods than alternatives.

What do u eat for alternatives? I’m curious if u have certain products that r your go to

@emersonemery my go to is usually the built bars that are protocol, quest chips are my favorite. Quest multi mix. May eat a proti diet food here or there. Other than that I may grab something different here or there.

@pash680 I like the quest chips and premier protein drinks but never tried the built bars. I’ll have to check them out. I got some stuff from Nashua nutrition but wasn’t a big fan

@emersonemery I freeze the built bars so they stay good longer. I like them cause they are a quick grab and I like how they taste. But look them in the search bar. Can learn a lot more about them.

Premier protein drinks are good too! I've recently tried the premier protein oats and absolutely love em!

@emersonemery Just order a small box of 10 Built Bars, just to try, some people don't care for them

Yes, I had issues with soy protein.

I did IP a year ago, and it messed my stomach up so bad that I finally had to quit. And it stayed that way for a couple of weeks after.

It’s the soy. I think I’m allergic to it.

I choose no/low soy options. Works for me. Less tummy issues, less cycle issues, less bloating/constipation
