Where are you all getting grocery delivery from these days? Amazon Whole Foods has nothing available nor does Meijer, and when we ordered from Mariano’s and Jewel they were out of a lot of what we needed. Any tips? I sure do miss Peapod.

There is an errand service that I use, but I am not sure if they deliver to your area. I made a list one night and I got the groceries the next morning. They are more expensive than some, but they pay their employees well. It’s called Errand Up

We are also having issues! I even tried ordering for my mom in the east coast and it’s the same thing. No time slots

I do Walmart. They have the biggest variety of griceries qvailable. Slots open at midnight. Good luck!

@eadith11 they weren't open at midnight yesterday.

@bisset odd. I have never had problems at midnight.

@eadith11 not sure why. An early one for today was available at 9 last night, but nothing again until this morning at 6:20 but it was only 2 slots for Sunday.

I went to jewel yesterday morning at 7:30 and they had everything. Milk, eggs, chicken, ground beef, lunch meat, cheese, bacon, hot dogs, yogurt, bread, avocados, apples, salad, Clementines, tomatoes, potatoes, frozen pizza. even had crab legs half off if that’s your thing. Maybe try early in the morning. It was pretty empty too. I went to the one at Ogden and aurora

@dropforge same. I went at 6am when it opened. Pretty empty except the people pulling orders for pick up and delivery.

@dropforge I know our jewel at 95th and 59 has senior hours between 7am and 9am so just be sure you aren’t going then.

@sachsen4 I was given this as a reference. Does it differ between locations?
by (2k points)
@dropforge I called this morning and I didn’t ask if it was because it was Thursday. I just asked about senior hours today.
by (5.9k points)
@sachsen4 gotcha. I’m glad it’s not everyday but I’m wondering if that’s why is was so dead when I went yesterday and there were mostly seniors in the store. Maybe people are thinking it’s daily

@sachsen4 no everyday though. I believe it’s only twice a week.

We just go ourselves. I would rather know that it is my husband and I touching Everything and not someone else. Early in the morning is great, but Target and Jewel (among others I believe) are doing first opening hour to 65 and older only so plan accordingly. Leave that time frame for them to get in and out.

@dropforge thanks for posting that. I was happy to see stores doing that. I accidently walked into Jewel like 20 minutes early because unlike Target, they didn't have anyone standing outside letting people know to wait outside. They just let me walk in and then I noticed all senior citizens and I had to go ask like why am I the only one under 70 in here right now lol. So I went and waited outside for a bit just to be nice.

Walmart has pickup and releases new times at midnight. They’re scheduling 2 days out. I ordered yesterday morning 12:15am and will pickup Friday morning. Depending on where you live instacart has been easy. I typically order Aldi through them and get same day delivery.

Enjoy $10 off your first order from Walmart Grocery.  Set your alarm for midnight and try for Walmart. Earlier pick up, obviously, will likely have better stock available. You’re welcome to my code for $10 off first time users. Also, I’ve had more luck driving to the Kirk Rd one than 75th, as far as what is in stock. Best of luck, everyone, and stay well.

Usually I've had luck with Walmart pickup, but last night I stayed up till midnight to get a slot for Saturday, but Saturday was listed before midnight . it was odd. Past midnight, Sunday was listed, but it gave no available times. When I tried for a 3rd time at 4:30 am, got a slot for Sunday morning. I thought they were only listing a couple days at a time, so I was surprised to see Sunday as an option.

With Whole Foods. I was able to place an order when I was very determined and refreshed the page, with delivery windows unavailable, like 15 times. Worked for 2 orders already :) Sharing is caring :)
