Grocery delivery tip question.  I’ve done Prime Whole Foods for a year and can include a tip on my order and I know it’s the same person shopping and delivering my order.Grocery delivery tip question. I’ve done Prime Whole Foods for a year and can include a tip on my order and I know it’s the same person shopping and delivering my order. I have a Jewel delivery tomorrow. The only slot was a partner delivery. So I paid a service fee, but there’s no place to add a tip. Is the shopping done by a Jewel employee and then Door Dash or whoever picks it up and drives it to me? Or in the current climate does the partner service do the shopping and delivery? Want to leave the appropriate cash tip if I can’t add it to my cc. Thanks.

Is the partner Instacart? If so then then the Instacart person shops and delivers. I have an envelope taped to my front door with a tip rather than put it on a card and have them wait I just leave them cash.

@cloraclorinda, 2 weeks ago when I first did an jewel order it was Door Dash. I received a text 10 min before they arrived. That’s why I wasn’t sure if it was the same person.

Oh wow! I didn’t even know door dash did that! Good to know. Maybe call Jewel tomorrow and ask them what the process is.

I try to tip cash if I have it.

If it is Doordash, they do not do the shopping. That said, keep in mind the order comes from the Ogden location so depending on where you are located it can be a bit of a hike for the driver. Tips are very much appreciated.
