Question

Instacart question - does anyone know how to adjust your tip once an order is placed? I've added items to my order so feel that I should increase the tip but the app isn't letting me change it. I'm hoping its user error?!

I just put a note in delivery instructor that says will be adjusted later. But yea I dont like you can’t change it while your order isn’t shopped yet. you also have to change the tip percentage when you do first go to order otherwise it stays at 5%.

@houghton yea still getting used to ordering but I like it now other than that feature. And I wish it sorted your list by department so I can see quickly if I missed something in produce etc. just thankful there are still shoppers willing to work so trying not to be an asshole by tipping them good or at the least 20%.

You can change it once the items are delivered.

You can change it at the end when you rate the shopper.

I couldn’t figure out how to change it so I put $20 in an envelope with her name on it taped to the door.
